HATS ON - OR OFF, BY KODA

WHAT COLOR SHOULD YOU WEAR?
I’m a stylin’ kind of Malamute. I’ve got the perfect face, plenty of blush, and incredible, precision eye shadow. I like the natural colors – soft creamy tans and greys. My hair is similar.
I’m considered ‘sable and white’. If you want to bring out the best in you – just remember that the hat is closest to your face – so if you are pale skinned, warm colors such as apricot, pink or blush would be a good choice.
Apparently, grey is a nice neutral color, but personally, it doesn’t do anything for me. I’m more the stylin’ type, so I can do bright and bold, or this beauty, vintage pillbox.

WHEN TO WEAR OR NOT?


Definitely wear a hat on special occasions – like weddings, neighborhood summer parties, or anything special. Not so special, but equally important – I’m a hunting dog. I need protection from humans with poor eyesight. Best to wear a Stetson when it’s pouring rain outside. Who needs an umbrella, if you have a wide brim. Do not wear a hat if it doesn’t suit your face, or if you can’t cover your BIG ears. Do not wear a hat if it looks ridiculous, under any occasion.



WHAT ABOUT THE SHAPE OF MY FACE?
I happen to have the perfect shape for a lot of different kinds of hats. Can you imagine a Stetson on a Chihuahua? Or a down turning large brimmed summer hat – HA HA HA – shorty just became shorter. I’m tall, the perfect wide shoulders. Just remember, brims should be no wider than the width of your shoulders.

WHAT'S TRENDING?

Baseball caps – I hate them, unless they serve a real purpose. I understand why people wear them backwards – so they can SEE. Mind you, who needs eyes with my nose and ears? Yes, they are in – and will likely stay in because they are really not a style but a statement – ‘I’m cool’. I happen to be cool ALREADY, but hunting caps, now that’s  functional.
Bucket hats! DEFINATE-LY, not for me!! Apparently, women drive this trend because it’s their version of a baseball cap. Then there’s straw hats because we all want to be on the beach. No salt water for this delicate coat!
